Charlie Sweeney
Executive Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Sweeney, a co-founder, has 20 years of experience as a seasoned finance and insurance executive and has been the Executive Vice President of ProtoStar since 2001.  Before joining ProtoStar, Mr. Sweeney was a significant shareholder and senior executive at Tri-City Brokerage, one of the largest independent financial services companies in the U.S., which was sold to The Bisys Group in 2003. Prior to his service with Tri-City Brokerage, Mr. Sweeney held various executive positions with Jardines and Marsh where he specialized in structuring credit wraps and other credit enhancements, which were primarily used to finance infrastructure projects in emerging markets.  Mr. Sweeney holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from St. Joseph’s University.
