Rich Davis
President of ProtoStar Development and Chief Financial Officer
Prior to his CFO appointment, Mr. Davis was a Principal with VantagePoint Venture Partners from 2002 and a ProtoStar Board member. Prior to joining VantagePoint, Mr. Davis was a founding member, Vice President and Principal at Lehman Brothers Communications Fund, LP, an $800 million technology investment Fund. He also was an Associate at Zilkha Capital Partners. Mr. Davis began his finance career at Salomon Brothers working with the firm's Global Telecommunications and Hotel Groups. Prior to Salomon Brothers Mr. Davis was an instructor pilot in the USAF stationed at Vance AFB, OK. Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (BS in Astrophysics) and The Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia (MBA).
